Call for Lectures, Short courses, Workshops, and Poster sessions

The 3nd International Conference for the Saudi Society of Speech language Pathology and Audiology would like to invite Speech language pathologist and audiologist to submit their abstracts for lectures, short courses, workshops, and poster sessions. The number of accepted abstracts is limited. Depending on the type of the presentation, the authors of the accepted abstracts will present their talks according to the below guidelines.  The conference will be held from 1st and 2nd of October 2022, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the theme “From Evidence to Practice”.

Guidelines for Lectures, Short courses, and Workshops

lectures (1 hour)

Topics: Audiology, speech-language pathology, and related topics

Lectures are on hour sessions which should focus on in-depth Audiology and speech pathology and related areas with proper clinical applications and research advances, supported by appropriate levels of evidence.

Short courses (2 hours)

Topics: Advanced audiology and speech-language pathology topics

Short Courses should focus on more intensive, advanced learning opportunity for seasoned professionals or those whose work has a specialized focus. Presentations should be advanced-level and emphasize on clinical applications and/or science supported by appropriate levels of evidence.

Workshops (3 to 4 hours)

Topics: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced audiology and speech-language pathology topics and related areas

Workshops should focus on more intensive learning opportunity for different levels of professionals or those whose work has a specialized focus. Workshops should include hands-on training and emphasize on clinical applications and/or science supported by appropriate levels of evidence.

Guidelines for submitting abstracts:

  1. The maximum word limit for the abstract is 500 words
  2. Your submission language should be in English.
  3. The abstract form has to be submitted
  4. Learning outcomes have to be outlined in the abstract form
